I've been a rock and roller for my whole life. Entering my late 30s, and still single (ladies, that means I'm here for you), it's obvious that I know how to party and party hard.
I've been a rock and roller for my whole life. Entering my late 30s, and still single (ladies, that means I'm here for you), it's obvious that I know how to party and party hard. So when I go to a rock and roll show, they should reserve tickets for me, automatically. I mean I am the life of the party. But when I checked out Bon Jovi tour dates (Bon Jovi is my favorite rocker of all time), and tried to order tickets, I was in for a surprise. I tried all of the numbers, all of the sites, but there were no Bon Jovi concert tickets left!
Yeah, I know. I should have started looking for Bon Jovi concert tickets before the last minute. Don't think that normally I wouldn't, but with the custody battle over my kid and the repossession of my house and everything, things have been a little busy. Anyway, I've got dozens of connections in the city. I know roadies, managers and staff in every venue in this state, practically. You'd think that, with all that I'd be able to score some Bon Jovi concert tickets, even if I had to settle for nosebleeds. But no such luck.
So, I sucked it up, and figured that I'd have to get my Bon Jovi concert tickets from scalpers. I hate buying from scalpers man, I mean I'm not made of money any more, and I like to know that all my dough is going directly to keep Jon Bon Jovi rocking hard. Not to make a bundle for some scalper. So, I got to the stadium something like two hours before the show to try to find my Bon Jovi concert tickets, but no such luck. I couldn't find anyone willing to sell for less than – get this – two hundred dollars. I don't care how many beers I get to drink in there, or how many hotties flashing the band. There is no way that's worth two hundred dollars. Not for a two hour show with an opening band taking up some of the time.
Then, suddenly, I stumbled on him. Some kid just out of college. Said his friend was sick, and he was selling his Bon Jovi concert tickets for – get this – sixty bucks. Well, he was immediately swarmed, but I pushed everyone out of the way and got to him first. Kid looked at me like I was crazy, but I got the tickets. Rock on!
