Britney Spears Fantasy
So America’s favorite little pop star has a second perfume out now. You’ve probably heard of it, its being advertised all over the television, radio and in magazines. It is being marketed under the inspiring name ‘Britney Spears Fantasy’. Exactly what kind of fantasies it inspires probably varies a lot from person to person.

It is being marketed under the inspiring name ‘Britney Spears Fantasy’. Exactly what kind of fantasies it inspires probably varies a lot from person to person. If the ads are an accurate guide, Britney Spears Fantasy is supposed to inspire lustful, adventurous, or romantic feelings in men just like any other perfume I suppose. As a man, I can say that the ads for Britney Spears Fantasy inspire me to change the channel, but maybe that’s just me.
I have to wonder how involved Britney is in the development of these perfumes, other than appearing in these ridiculous commercials. I mean, it’s pretty obvious that some clever businessperson is just using her priceless name recognition to hawk some random bottles of scented chemicals and calling it a ‘Fantasy’. Is it really Britney Spear’s Fantasy? No, probably more like her signature on a contract and that’s about it.
So of course what you’re buying when you get a bottle of Britney Spears Fantasy is the product of the company she signed the contract with, which happens to be Elizabeth Arden Inc. As a fairly big name in the beauty product industry that has been around for a long time, they do have some idea of what they are doing. So in spite of the silly ads and marketing ploys, it’s not such a bad perfume. I’m not a huge fan of perfume, but Britney Spears Fantasy does have a pleasant aroma to it, on a woman. In very low quantities I would say that it is at least tolerable, if not exciting and adventurous and lustful and all that.
 With so many perfumes on the market, it really comes down to personal preference. Perfumes for a lot of women are almost a part of their identity, and they are fiercely loyal to a particular brand. If you are such a woman, and are a huge Britney Spears and/or Elizabeth Arden Inc. fan, Britney Spears Fantasy may be the right perfume for you to identify with.
Of course, after all is said and done, my favorite Britney Spears Fantasy involves the pop idol being shot into space as the first person to visit the sun. I’m just waiting for Elizabeth Arden Inc. to come out with Britney’s third and final perfume; ‘Britney Spears in a Blazing Inferno’.
